Golf Course Etiquette

The month of June was a tough stretch to maintain the golf course.  Thankfully the course has dried out and I am glad to see so many members taking advantage of the nice conditions.

Golf course etiquette is part and parcel of the game.  These points below are a friendly reminder from your golf course superintendent.  The course is only as good as you leave it for the group behind you.
  • Repair your pitchmark and one other on every green
  • Replace divots in fairways and on tee boxes
  • Use divot mix in fairways, first cut, and on tees only
  • Do not drive on tees or close to greens
  • Tap your shoes with your club or bunker rake as you exit the bunker. This prevents sand being tracked onto the green
Hope to see you out in the fairways!
