Pins are In!
We are officially open! Cups are cut and greens are mowed and rolled. Irrigation system is charged and we are starting to mow fairways, tees, and approaches. The tee blocks are out and you will notice that on the shared tees they are painted in half.
The 5th tee is coming in well but will remain covered and closed. The turf blanket is aiding in the establishment of the new tee. We mowed it today and will also make an application of fertilizer. It will be aerated and top dressed next week. The 5th blocks are about 100 yards from the green.
The ospreys are a sure sign of spring. This one was perched on a dead oak near the barn. They have really big talons and enjoy eating trout.
The staff and I are looking forward to the new season!
