5th Tee Project

Well its been some time since updating this blog.  I am hopeful that over time i can a good handle on writing a blog and consistently update it.

The 5th tee project was finished just before the snow and rain in early November.  I am fairly pleased with the final product.  It will need some additional fine tuning this spring as well as some additional sod.  Pictured below is the final rough grade.  Matt Casadei is applying some calcitic lime.

It is much better than the original tee and the 5th is arguably our signature hole here at LCC. 

Finished product!  We will roll it in the spring with the "brutus" roller to level it out.  It will need to be aerated and topdressed heavily before being opened for play.  I am hopeful with an early spring it will be open for play in early may.
