The 5th tee rebuild is moving along well. We have stripped the sod and saved a portion of the sod to use later. This tee was rebuilt or added on at some point. When we started to level the tee we found about 10 inches of straight sand as a base. I always wondered why this tee always burned out in the summer.
The orginal tee was 13 feet wide. The new tee will be 20 feet wide providing more space for the blocks. We used a york rake to move the existing material around and form a rough teeing surface. Topsoil is being delivered today and we will mark out the new teeing ground and do final grading.
